Exciting stuff! The word is spreading…….

http://djsimbad.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/may-chart-part-1.html

Collocutor (Emanative remix) played on Gilles Peterson BBC6 20th April 2013!!

A great start to the project!

The remix of Collocutor’s track ‘Instead’, courtesy of the fantastic Emanative (who is also mixing the EP), was played on Gilles Peterson’s BBC Radio 6 Music a couple of weeks ago…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01s246v

It started off the Backroom Babylon mix, about 2hrs 33mins in to the show.

But…….

It’s sadly no longer availble on iPlayer! However, Gilles only gave a taster of the track anyway – to check out the full works have a listen on Emanative’s soundcloud:

New project ‘Collocutor’ under way!

I’m very excited that my new project Collocutor is solidly under way. Having recorded to tape at the wonderful Cowshed Studios back in late December 2012 the mixing stage is in progress.

The music is influenced by pretty much everything I’ve encountered in my musical life so far, and the specific talents of the musicians who recorded, so I don’t really know how to describe it other than ‘instrumental’! Watch this space for updates and decide for yourself as the music gradually appears…..
